S.T.A.R. Award Nominations are due April 22, 2022 at 3:30 PM.

S.T.A.R Awards is a special event where Students Are Thanked and Recognized. Students who have made outstanding contributions here at Honolulu Community College are nominated by Administrators, Faculty, and Staff. As a nominator, you can show case your top students and the tasks, goals, and work they have completed for the school!

Due to the conditions of COVID – 19, HonCC Student Life & Development will not be hosting the in-person ceremony this year but we are still excited for your Students to be Thanked and Recognized at this special event. Students who have done outstanding work here at Honolulu Community College are nominated by Administrators, Faculty, and Staff.

The categories that you may nominate students in include: Academic Achievement, Student Organization, Outstanding Student Employee, Campus/Community Service. Students that are nominated will be offered the opportunity to pick up an award and gift bag, courtesy of the Chartered Student Organizations at Honolulu Community College. To keep this honor significant, please be conscientious and recognize only those that are above and beyond. That said, don’t hesitate to nominate awesome students.

As a nominator, you have the honor of thanking and recognizing your students’ outstanding work during your online classes. Students who are recognized will receive a S.T.A.R. Certificate and “Prize Bag” which can be picked up at the Student Life Office (Building 2 Room 113); for those who cannot pick-up in-person there is another type of “prize”.
