Student Lounge
The Student Lounge is one of the few places on campus that students can use for studying, eating, sleeping, watching TV, and playing games. The lounge is also used by the Student Activities Board, RISOs, and other campus departments to host fun and exciting events.
The Student Lounge is managed by Student Life & Development (SLD) and will be open during SLD office hours.
Student Lounge Rules
- Respect the right of others
- Avoid disruptive and offensive noise behavior
- Excessive noise is not allowed
- Keep lounge area clean. Do not leave rubbish or personal items unattended
- The lounge is for current HonCC students. Student ID checks will be conducted
- Lounge may be reserved through SLD for special events
- During several campus events and/or emergencies, the lounge will be closed
- NO footwear on the furniture
- Unless permitted by SLD, do not move the furniture
- TV must remain at reasonable volume (educational programs or news has TOP priority)
- Board games are provided through SLD. Validated Student ID required
- No gambling, smoking, vaping, alcohol consuming and/or illegal activity
- The Student Conduct Code applies. Please take care to read it and respect it
- Report all offenses of any rules or policies to SLD immediately. If you see something, say something
The lounge is designated for students. Please take care and respect the rights of all those using the area, by taking care to keep the lounge a happy, healthy and welcoming environment, you are contributing to the positive experiences of HonCC. Mahalo.
