Mission Statement

The Marine Education Training Center's program mission is to serve the community as a learning-centered, open door program providing technical training to meet the demands of companies within the small vessel fabrication and repair industry as well as the needs of the individual.

The Marine Education Training Center's is a subsidiary of Honolulu Community College, which is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and has been continuously and fully accredited since 1970 by Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
